The Heartstringers

Tears Warm the Soul

A songbook seventy deep, finally finding its voice. Heartfelt ballads, porch-light duets, and the quiet goodbyes that stay with you.

Debut release · Summer 2026

For years the songs piled up the way they do for the writers who can't help it — more than seventy of them now, written in kitchens and on porches and in the long quiet after the house goes still. Songs about anniversaries at the county fair. About a jewelry box nobody's ready to open. About a dog walked alone on a beach where the ashes went out with the tide.

The Heartstringers is where those songs finally get sung. No hurry, no gloss — just the old country promise that a sad song, sung warm, can be the most comforting thing in the room. That's the whole idea behind the name. Tears warm the soul.

From the songbook

A handful of what's coming. Each one already written. Each one waiting for summer.

Silver Carousel

The anniversary song

A tender country waltz, two voices trading verses about a twenty-fifth wedding anniversary — back at the same fair where they first met, the same carousel still turning.

Beach Walk

Coastal country folk

A widow walks her dog on the shore where her husband's ashes were scattered. Gentle, restrained, the kind of grief that has made its peace with the morning.

Her Jewelry Box

Intimate ballad

A widower stands at the dresser asking himself the oldest question there is — when is the moment for letting go, and is it ever really the right one?

Hummingbirds

Warm acoustic duet

Male and female voices trade verses and meet on the choruses. Tender and close, the sound of two people who have learned each other by heart.

Unless There Is You

Pop-country crooner

A husband narrates the kind of ordinary night that turns out to be everything, in the smooth mid-register warmth of an old standard.

Sailing on Rainbows

A love letter, late in life

A warm ballad with a gentle rolling feel — a man writing his wife the letter he should have written years ago, while there's still time to mean it.

Coming Summer 2026

The debut record is in the works now. Mixed warm, mastered patient, made to be played on a back porch as the light goes long.

Until then — keep a little room for the sad ones. They're the songs that love you back.
